94 pieces of drugs seized from boat

KUWAIT CITY, June 11: A total of 94 pieces of hashish, a roll of heroin, a small sachet of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were confiscated from a boat that infiltrated into the Kuwaiti territorial waters from a nearby country. In a press release issued by Ministry of Interior, the Public Relations and Security Media Department explained that the General Department for Coast Guard detected with the use of radar the infiltration of a boat into the Kuwaiti territorial waters. It immediately dispatched officers to the location to intercept the boat. There were two individuals onboard the boat and five boxes. Officers checked the boxes to discover 94 pieces of hashish, a roll of heroin, a small sachet of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
