3.5 kilos drugs found on 2 expats

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 18 : The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior announced on Wednesday, that the Criminal Security Sector, represented by the General Administration for Drug Control, has arrested two residents of Arab nationality in possession of 3.5 kilos of narcotic substances including chemical, hashish and shabu. The General Department of Relations and Security Media stated in a press statement that investigations were intensified and information gathered, which was confirmed to be true, indicating that after taking legal measures, the suspects were arrested and two kilos of chemical, one kilo of hashish, half a kilo of shabu and a scale were found in their possession.

It added that information received by the General Administration for Narcotics Control stated that residents of one of the Arab nationalities were in possession of a large amount of narcotics and psychotropic substances with the intention of trafficking and abuse. It stated that when the defendants were confronted with what had been found in their possession, they admitted that the contraband belonged to them with the intention of trafficking and dealing, (KUNA)
