1,310 bottles liquor seized

KUWAIT CITY, March 20: Police have arrested four Asians for trading in locally manufactured alcohol, reports Al-Shahed daily. The bootleggers were seen near a car which was parked on an open ground in Farwaniya and when police approached them, they tried in vain to escape. Police have seized from the men 1,310 bottles of local alcohol from the vehicle. The suspects and the booze have been handed over to the General Department of Drugs and Alcohol Control.
Meanwhile, the Farwaniya police have arrested two Indians for trafficking in locally-manufactured booze and referred them to the General Department for Drug and Alcohol Control, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily added, the suspects were picked up while driving in Abbasiya. Police have seized from them 10 bottles of local booze. The bootleggers then guided police to three cars which were parked in the area and were being used for storage facility. Police have seized from these cars 350 bottles of booze.
