THE Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud visited the land from where his grandfather set out 120 years ago to fight one of the most important battles of nation-building. He started from Riyadh, and continued with success until he accomplished this great kingdom.
For 120 years, the world has followed your grandfather from the beginning, and then after him your uncles, and then your father King Salman bin Abdulaziz whose right hand you have been in managing the affairs of Saudi Arabia. This kingdom has today become the center of the world not only in the economy aspect, but also in playing a great political role globally, and in serving as an example of transformation and social development regionally and in the Arab world.
Your Highness Prince Mohammad bin Salman, to be honest, for years we were afraid that aging had started creeping into the joints of Saudi Arabia, which is the pillar of the Gulf tent and the depth of the strategic Gulf Cooperation Council countries that would affect the rest of the countries in the region.
However, the fear disappeared when you started your social and economic renaissance project under the direction of King Salman bin Abdulaziz. Your Highness worked with the spirit of youth and great openness to the civilizations of the world to crystallize and implement that project until Saudi Arabia became more prosperous, achieved the highest position in the world, and started playing a prominent role in international politics.
You are always welcome to the country that loved your grandfather, your uncles, and your father, who knows the history of the region and its men, and has a great place among all Kuwaitis who have followed, and are following with great admiration your administrative revolution in the whirlpool of the hearts of Muslims. The arid oases of economic and urban vitality, the “NEOM” project, and its large and modern cities will serve as the best evidence of this great achievement in a few years.
Your Highness has made every effort to liberate your people from the shackles of customs and traditions that are not part of our Gulf culture, and have no basis in our true religion, but were made up by evil minds who wanted to imprison Saudi Arabia and the Gulf region in the caves of dark ages.
God bears witness to the fact that you are a man who promised and fulfilled. As soon as you assumed your position as the crown prince, you pledged to modernize the kingdom. Today it has become a major workshop on an area of more than two million square kilometers, and is witnessing a lot of global activities, befitting this empire, and even more than you promised.
You are still striving for the development of your country, for you have removed frowns and brought back smiles on the faces of your people, and received the awe of all the people of the region. In fact, you made the Great Saudi Arabia an example of development, fight against corruption, modern administrative systems, and openness to the world.
Kuwait will always welcome you as our dear guest to be among your kinship and your clan.
