IT is a blessing when a country has a wise leader -- a leader who comprehends the meaning of difficult tasks and a leader who has a team that understands what needs to be done. If you have such ingredients in a country, things become easy. His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah worked on a firm and decisive path to fortify institutions by choosing wisely to put the right person in the right positions, especially in the sensitive posts; so there is no misstep that could affect the course of the renaissance that His Highness seeks.
Hence, he chose an experienced Crown Prince -- a diplomat of high caliber who knows how to formulate his positions; and not afraid to stand with the truth, Kuwait and its people. He is Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al- Hamad Al-Sabah. He was the Prime Minister who, in the most difficult stages, bore the responsibility of extricating Kuwait from the ordeal of the ‘Corona’ pandemic. He worked with all his abilities and efforts for the sake of the people wherever they were. He was also the Minister of Foreign Affairs under sensitive, regional and international circumstances; through which, Kuwait placed a difficult number in the international and regional equations. Undoubtedly, this is a point of credit for the man, because his demeanor coincides with the cultural and traditional spirit of the nation.
Tolerance among the people of the country was also translated into various initiatives in the region. Thus, he was the teacher in the fine arts of diplomacy. This is also a point in Kuwait’s interest. This is an indication that we have State figures capable of playing their role in the most difficult stages. Accordingly, His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled assuming this important position did not come out of the blue, but rather from the experience and expertise he acquired in an arduous work process. Without a doubt, HH the Crown Prince is responsible for many files. He must create paths for the future in many fields. If he is not an experienced figure like His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, a number of problems will arise in the future.
With His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, we can rest assured that we are in the custody of great figures, headed by His Highness the Amir and assisted by brave and calm-minded aids who know how to manage a country tired of the crises it has experienced due to reckless ventures. It is now time for the country to emerge from the cocoon of backwardness into the space of real Kuwait, which has been able to overcome all crises throughout the four centuries.
Since he was a minister, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled has been keen on supporting Kuwaiti youths; because he is convinced that “the youth is the pillar of the future.” He expressed this many years ago. At this stage, which requires intensifying efforts to serve the country, we are certain that His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al- Khaled will be at the forefront of defending the rights of young people to prove their worth in various fields.
