KUWAIT CITY, Nov 25: In the opening matches of the eighth round of the Kuwaiti Premier Football League’s (Zain League) 2023-2024 season, Kazma Club clinched a thrilling victory against Al-Fahaheel with a score of 4-3. The match, held at Al-Shabab Club Stadium, witnessed an exciting competition, culminating in a total of seven goals. Kazma’s Tony Silva, Douglas from Brazil, Kuwaiti Aqeel Al-Hazeem, and Jordanian Ahmed Al-Arsan all found the net, while Al-Fahaheel responded with goals from Brazilians Vitor and Bruce, along with Kuwaiti Abdul Mohsen Al-Ajmi.

Simultaneously, Al-Nasr secured a decisive 3-0 win against Al-Jahra in a match at Kazma Club Stadium. Libyan player Al-Muatasem Al-Lafi, Colombian Hansel Zapata, and Kuwaiti Suleiman Bou Ramiah were the goal-scorers for Al-Nasr, showcasing a well-rounded performance.

As a result of these outcomes, Kazma ascended to the fourth position with 13 points, just ahead of Al-Nasr, which secured the fifth spot. Al-Fahaheel remained in eighth place with five points. Looking ahead, the next round’s matches on Thursday will feature a crucial battle between Khaitan and Al-Shabab, both vying to avoid relegation, as well as a matchup between second-placed Al-Qadisiyah Club and sixth-placed Al-Salmiya, with both teams aiming to close the gap on the league leaders.
