ABK Showcases A+ Student Account and ISIC Youth Mastercard to University Students

Kuwait City, Jan 21: Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK) is pleased to announce its recent presence at Kuwait University and International University in Kuwait (IUK) to introduce new students to the advantages of the A+ Student account and the ISIC Youth prepaid card. This endeavor also aimed to enhance financial literacy, foster the importance of saving, and attract new clients.

ABK’s team engaged with students, presenting the unique benefits offered by the A+ Student account, specifically tailored to individuals aged between 16 and 25. By encouraging them to open an account, ABK intended to enable them to enjoy a wide range of benefits that suit their lifestyles.

This includes a complimentary ISIC Youth prepaid card for two years, in addition to an exclusive VOX Cinemas ‘Buy One Get Two Tickets Free’ offer, along with various discounts at numerous stores and partner outlets in Kuwait.

Students were also introduced to the functionalities of the ISIC Youth card, emphasizing its use as both a prepaid and a university access identification card. Notably, it offers discounts at over 150,000 establishments across 130 countries, featuring exclusive travel offers on Emirates Airline and accommodation bookings through Booking.com, among other benefits.

On this occasion, Johair Marafi, General Manager of Retail Banking at ABK, underscored the significance of the Bank’s engagement with universities. She expressed, “ABK is dedicated to delivering an exceptional banking experience. Both the A+ Student account and ISIC Youth prepaid card are specifically designed to meet youth’s requirements thereby enhancing their satisfaction with the Bank’s diverse range of products and services.”

Marafi shared that ABK’s ISIC Youth prepaid card was recently acknowledged as the Best Banking Product by World Business Outlook, further highlighting how its features make it an optimal choice for university students.

Marafi stressed, “This represents a positive beginning towards experiencing a distinctive and unparalleled banking journey with ABK. We remain committed to delivering diverse banking and financial services that cater to the needs of all segments of Kuwaiti society.” Furthermore, she emphasized the Bank’s proactive approach to promoting a culture of saving, particularly among the youth, and fortifying its competitive standing in Kuwait’s banking sector.

Marafi concluded with an invitation to follow the Bank’s social media accounts to remain up to date with the latest marketing initiatives and to benefit from the current promotional campaigns and offers.
