China’s Anhui troupe thrills audience

The famous Anhui arts troupe performed at Abdulhussain Abdulredha Theater in Salmiya on Monday evening, bringing Chinese folklore and arts to a Kuwaiti audience. The gala gives traditional art lovers a chance to enjoy a rare Chinese cultural experience.

The event is co-organized by the Chinese Embassy in Kuwait and the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters of Kuwait (NCCAL) on the 70th anniversary of founding the People’s Republic of China. Until Tuesday, the troupe will thrill audiences with amazing performances of Chinese folk dance, traditional Hui Opera, Sichuan face-changing, folk music, Chinese songs and acrobatics. (KUNA)
