‘Yacht liquor’ case hearing Aug 14

KUWAIT CITY, June 20: The Criminal Court adjourned until Aug 14 the session on the ‘ yacht liquor ’ case involving a citizen and the Filipino captain of the yacht, reports Al-Seyassah daily. Case files indicate a famous social media personality owns the yacht, which his friend – a citizen – and the Filipino captain allegedly used to smuggle about 700 bottles of alcoholic drinks through the seaport.

The Public Prosecution exonerated the yacht owner, identified only as YB, some days after being investigated on the discovery of liquor bottles in his yacht, while his friend and the captain were referred to the Central Prison as a decision on the case has yet to be taken.
