UNIMONI Exchange

Incredi-Bowlers dark horse for Falcon Cargo, Swooping Eagles posts

KUWAIT CITY, June 3: In the penultimate game of the elimination round there were no changes in the standings of the “Super 8” and also of the possible members of the Desperado Group of the ongoing 2019 Philippine Bowling Association in Kuwait – Kuwait Bowling Federation Cup 2019 Tenpin Bowling League held at Kuwait Bowling Sporting Club Complex in Salmiya. The top rank were still the UNIMONI Exchange, the Falcon Int’l Cargo were the cliff hangers of the Top 8 and the cellar dwellers were the winless Dragon bowlers. The teams that posted victory were IBL Tigers, ‘X’ Strikers, IncrediBowlers, Asian Air Safari, UNIMONI Exchange and KRAHS while Pin Pals played bye.

The Incredi-Bowlers, who were hovering on top of the seventh placed Swooping Eagles and eight placed Falcon Cargo, were now on the run to make or break a place for the “Super 8”. If not for the incomplete attendance and shabby performance of their bowlers from game 2 to 6 and game 9, total of thirteen blind games, they might upkeep their seventh place until this time. With their back-to-back wins against ‘X’ Strikers (2,593-2,552) and winless Dragon bowlers (2,746-2,290) they can be considered a threat to the seventh or eight position occupied by the flying avians.

But analyzing the matches on Friday it is a do-or-die for the three teams but more nerve breaking was between Swooping Eagles and Incredi-Bowlers with their scheduled duel at Lanes 31/32 while Falcon Cargo are against a puny team Pin Pals.
