KUWAIT CITY, Dec 29: An Arab laborer died when a concrete barrier fell on him while he was working in an under construction building in Funaitees, reports Al-Rai daily. Firefighters from Mubarak Al-Kabeer Fire Station and securitymen rushed to the location after the Operations Unit in the Interior Ministry received a call from the victim’s colleague who reported the incident. A case was registered and investigations are underway to determine the actual circumstances leading to the laborer’s death.

Meanwhile, an unidentified Egyptian fell to his death from a building under construction in Funaitees, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily added, acting on information paramedics and personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department rushed to the spot and referred the corpse for post mortem. Police are investigating the mishap. And, an Asian man died when his car overturned on the road while his companion sustained serious injuries, reports Al-Anba daily.

Paramedics rushed to the location after the Operations Unit in the Interior Ministry received information on the accident. However, the Asian already succumbed to his injuries when the rescuers arrived at the scene.
