‘Transfer residence of delivery boys to firms’

KUWAIT CITY, July 2: The Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Traffic and Operations Affairs Major General Jamal Al-Sayegh confirmed that the traffic sector, represented by the Licensing and Research Department, is working in cooperation and coordination with the Public Authority for Manpower to find radical solutions to the problem of home delivery workers violating the residence and labor laws by transferring their work permits formally and legally to the delivery companies, reports Al- Jarida daily.

Al-Sayegh added, in a press statement following his sponsorship of the awareness lecture for delivery workers about correct behaviors, which was held at the General Directorate of Civil Defense theater spoke of the necessity to follow traffic safety procedures by delivery drivers to preserve the safety and lives and property of others.
