KUWAIT CITY, Dec 28: The criminal court headed by Counselor Miteb Al- Ardhi sentenced a former undersecretary and a former assistant undersecretary in the Ministry of Health to seven years imprisonment with hard labor for embezzling public money, reports Al-Anba daily. The verdict also called for the dismissal of the two defendants from work and barred them from holding any public office and ordered them to return to the Treasury 4,845,650 million and fine them double the amount. The two senior officials were charged with forging an official document with the intent to ‘earn’ money illegally.
