LOS ANGELES, June 22: Justin Timberlake, the renowned singer and actor, opened up about his recent legal troubles during his first concert since being arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated. The 43-year-old artist spoke to his fans in Chicago on Friday night, acknowledging the challenges he faced over the past week.

The arrest occurred in Sag Harbor, a prosperous village in New York’s Hamptons, where Timberlake allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign and maintain his lane while driving a 2025 BMW. Videos of Timberlake’s remarks at the concert circulated widely on social media platforms.

During his performance, Timberlake expressed gratitude to his fans for their continued support despite the difficult circumstances. His lawyer, in a statement to the PA Media news agency, affirmed his commitment to vigorously defending Timberlake against the charges.

According to reports from the Sag Harbor village police department, officers stopped Timberlake on June 18th at 12:37 am and observed signs of impairment, including bloodshot and glassy eyes, along with the smell of alcohol on his breath. Following the arrest, Timberlake was held overnight and arraigned in Sag Harbor Village justice court the next morning before being released.

His next court appearance is scheduled for July 26th, as confirmed by the Suffolk County district attorney’s office. Despite the legal ordeal, Timberlake is continuing his concert tour, with upcoming performances in Chicago, New York, Boston, Baltimore, and Cleveland, among other cities.

The European leg of his tour is set to begin in Krakow, Poland, on July 26th, featuring shows in Birmingham, and Manchester, and two dates at the O2 Arena in London. Timberlake, a Grammy-winning artist and accomplished actor, released his latest solo album, “Everything I Thought It Was,” in March, showcasing his enduring talent and resilience amid personal challenges.3.5
