KUWAIT CITY, Oct 8: A Kuwaiti teenager was arrested for stealing KD 13,000 from the house of his sister, reports Al-Anba daily. The teenager broke into his sister’s house while she was attending a wedding ceremony. He escaped with the money and bought a buggy worth KD 800.

The sister reported the theft to the Operations Unit of the Interior Ministry and her brother was arrested after the officers suspected him. During interrogation, the brother admitted to the theft, returned the remaining money and was released as his sister forgave him.

Police are looking for an Egyptian accountant who allegedly stole KD3,000 from a general trading and contracting company, reports Al-Rai daily. The owner of the company said the accountant kept the money for personal use and disappeared, instead of depositing it in the bank account of the company.
