KUWAIT CITY, Jan 6: The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs implemented social distancing between worshipers in Kuwaitis mosques starting from Friday 7th Jan 2022.
A circular has been issued to preachers and imams of the mosque to implement social distancing measures between the worshipers and to keep doors and windows of the mosque open during prayers. Also Friday sermon should not exceed more than 15 minutes. The circular also stated that wearing a mask during prayers using a special prayer mat, avoid touching others and keep social distance.
