Sinking of roads and flying gravel return

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 16: In first real test of preparations for rain resulted in sinking of streets and flying gravels as predicted by Al Qabas. Morning heavy rains blocked the roads and phenomenon of flying gravels were witnessed through out the country despite of increasing emergency teams by Ministry of Public Works.

The rainfall in evening of 94mm turned streets into lakes and rivers where cars broke down and water flooded into homes and Jahara hospital only exposed that concerned departments were ill-prepared for the event.

Meanwhile Ministry of Education announced that the exams are not postponed and school operations will be continue on Tuesday
