Silk City part of Vision ’35 aimed at building a prosperous future

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 15: The Silk City project in all its components comes within the framework of the Vision 2035 of His Highness the Amir aimed at building a prosperous economic future foremost for Kuwaitis and the Arabs in general, reports Al-Anba daily.

The sources pointed out that the determination for dependence of the Mubarak Al-Kabeer port as part of the northern economic zone (the Silk Project) comes in the implementation of Decree No. 154 issued in 2014 for the establishment of the Silk City and development of the Bubiyan Island.

The sources added that the decree on the Silk City refers to the follow up on completion and management and operation of the Mubarak Al-Kabir port. The sources pointed out that the Sheikh Jaber Bridge, which is also located within the region, was established to be a road linking the Gulf with Kuwait to achieve the common goal.
