KUWAIT CITY, Aug 23: Al-Khalidi was presented with the accolade by the event's sponsor, Sheikh Fahad Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Chairman of the Kuwaiti Olympic Committee. Sheikh Fahad Nasser emphasized that the award serves as a significant motivator for players and plays a crucial role in advancing the sport within the country. He expressed his deep sense of pride in sponsoring the award ceremony, which honors his late father for the fifth consecutive year.

Sheikh Fahad Nasser Al-Sabah reiterated his commitment to supporting athletes and initiatives aimed at elevating the standard of football and sports in general. He lauded the diligent efforts put forth by all those involved in organizing the award, including workers, sponsors, and the arbitration committees.

In the realm of achievements, Abdul Rahman Kamil, the goalkeeper for Kuwait Club, secured the award for the best save of the 2022-2023 football season. Hussein Ashkanani, a player from Al-Arabi Club, was recognized as the most promising player of the season. Meanwhile, Badr Tariq, another player from Al-Arabi Club, earned the distinction of the most stunning goal award.
