DUBAI, April 14: Shabab Al-Ahly from the Emirates secured victory over Al-Duhail of Qatar with a score of 2-1, clinching the "Emirati-Qatari" Super Shield at Rashid Stadium in Dubai. Goals from Luca and Igor Jesus propelled Al-Ahly youth to victory, while Brazilian Coutinho netted one for Al-Duhail.
In another match, the Qatari team Al Arabi emerged victorious in the inaugural edition of the Qatari-Emirati Super Cup. They triumphed over Al Sharjah with a solitary goal, scored by Tunisian player Youssef Al Msakni, in a match held at Al Thumama Stadium in the Qatari capital, Doha.
