Security Forces Nab 16 in Drug Cases, Seize Narcotics, Firearms, and Money

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 15: The General Administration for Drug Control has successfully arrested 16 expats of various nationalities in 13 separate cases. These individuals were found in possession of approximately 6.2 kilograms of various narcotics and 550 psychotropic pills. Additionally, law enforcement confiscated two firearms, ammunition, and cash proceeds believed to be derived from drug sales.

Following thorough interrogation, the accused individuals admitted ownership of the confiscated items and acknowledged their intention to engage in drug trafficking and abuse. Subsequently, both the suspects and the seized items have been transferred to the appropriate authorities to initiate the necessary legal proceedings against them.

The General Department of Security Relations and Media emphasizes the unwavering commitment of the criminal security personnel and all divisions within the Ministry to relentlessly pursue drug dealers and traffickers. The Ministry encourages the public to collaborate with law enforcement by promptly reporting any suspicious activities or negative incidents via the emergency phone line at (112) or the hotline of the General Administration for Drug Control at (1884141).
