As soon as the politician starts attacking a public personality who is known for his good character and has made achievements, he asks for his/her resignation or to be dismissed from the governmental post so that one may feel that there is something suspicious surrounding the situation.
The popular proverb says: “A wolf does not run in vain.” This failed politician is either seeking to obtain an order from that public figure, by compromising his silence about his attack, or he did not get what he wanted and in all cases he aims to remain under the spotlight in preparation for the upcoming elections.
I entered the Credit Bank premises three times. The first was when I got a private home building loan, 33 years ago, the second, after dropping the bank’s loans of all citizens after the liberation, so I entered it to finish the mortgage removal transactions, and the third, five years ago, after receiving an invitation from the general manager of the bank to see the development and progress achieved by the bank.
Despite the beauty of the bank’s modern decorations, elegant employees and welcoming smiles, which were drawn on the faces of a wonderful group of Kuwaiti youth, of both sexes, which make you feel that you are in a distinguished government institution and like a few such as the Public Institute for Social Security, for example.
I was armed with my journalistic curiosity, and I felt that there is something in the matter. How did the director of this government institution, which has long been famous for its slack and backwardness, in almost every field was able to create a wonderful work environment? I got out of the bank that day and started asking people of my age about their children’s experiences with the bank, and the responses were either positive or very positive.
One of my sons also informed me about his personal experience and his complete satisfaction with the way his transactions were completed, so I did not hesitate at that time to commend the good management of the credit bank.
The attack by some of those who we call ‘failures’ on the director of the Credit Bank coincided, unfortunately for them, with the bank’s announcement of the launch of the ‘mortgage loan’ with artificial intelligence technology which allows obtaining the mortgage loan within minutes instead of days. It was later reported in the newspapers that the citizen Sa’ad Al Shammari was the first to obtain the construction loan of KD 70,000 in this advanced way without the need to visit the bank or submit any documents and without extensive human intervention.
The Credit Bank service is an unprecedented governmental experience and we hope to generalize it to all other government agencies. It was also reported in the newspapers that the bank had obtained three prestigious ISO certificates in the quality management system and the international standard ISO 9001, the second in the information security management system ISO 27001, and the third in the business continuity management system ISO 22301.
This is a smart and unprecedented move and evidence of the quality of the bank’s management and their confidence in the accuracy of their control and administrative systems.
