MOSCOW, May 4: The Russian Federation on Thursday announced imposing sanctions on Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and 62 other personalities, banning them from entering Russia indefinitely.
The move came in response to sanctions Japan has imposed against Russia over its war in Ukraine.

In a press statement, the Russian Foreign Ministry accused the Japanese administration of launching an “unprecedented anti-Russian campaign (and) allows unacceptable rhetoric against the Russian Federation, including slander and direct threats”. Japan is taking practical measures to undermine good-neighborly relations and harm Russia’s economy and international standing, it claimed. (KUNA)
