KUWAIT CITY, Sept 28: Kuwaiti Triathlon Club athletes Abdullah Al-Rifai and Saleh Al-Muhaini achieved a significant milestone today by securing their spots in the upcoming World Half Ironman Championship, scheduled for December 2024 in New Zealand. Their qualification came as a result of their outstanding performance in the recent championship held in the Sultanate of Oman, where they finished fourth and seventh, respectively.

Rashid Al-Kandari, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the club, extended his heartfelt congratulations to these accomplished Kuwaiti athletes. He emphasized that their achievement is a testament to the excellence of triathlon players from Kuwait on the international stage, as well as a testament to their consistent success in representing Kuwait in various sporting events.

Al-Kandari attributed this remarkable accomplishment to the dedicated efforts of the athletes themselves, as well as the unwavering support from the club's technical and administrative staff.
