Real estate transactions from Oct 30 to Nov 3

Total value amounted to approximately KD106 million
KUWAIT CITY, Nov 13: The total value of real estate transactions (contracts and agencies) amounted to approximately KD 106 million during the period from October 30 to November 3, 2022, reports Al-Qabas daily. The real estate transactions during that period included about KD 104.5 million in contracts, and KD 1.33 million in agencies. The total number of real estate deals amounted to 148 deals (143 contracts and 5 agencies), according to the latest statistics of the movement of real estate transactions in the departments of real estate registration and documentation in the Ministry of Justice.
Hawally Governorate had the highest number of deals in private housing with 45 deals, followed by Ahmadi Governorate with 37 deals, Capital Governorate with 10 deals, and Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate with 9 deals. Farwaniya and Jahra governorates had the lowest number with six and two deals respectively. According to the Ministry of Justice’s statistics, the value of private real estate contracts traded was KD 59.73 million through 109 deals.
The value of investment real estate contracts traded was KD 42.36 million through 32 real estate deals during the five days. The value of transactions in artisanal real estate contracts was KD 2.47 million through two deals. In this regard, the commercial real estates, exhibitions, stores, nursery and coastal strip did not witness any movement during the aforementioned period. Regarding agency transactions, the private real estate witnessed five deals worth KD 1.33 million, which were concentrated in the areas of West Abdullah Al-Mubarak, Sabah Al-Salem, and Wafra residential.
There were also two deals in the marine city of Sabah Al-Ahmad. The investment, commercial, craft, exhibitions and other real estate and coastal strip did not witness any changes during the same period. The value of private housing trades in October was about KD 157.19 million through 338 deals. The investment real estate trades recorded about KD 97.76 million through 114 deals.
The value of commercial activity trades amounted to KD 39.68 million with 11 deals. Regarding agency transactions in the same month, the monthly statistics of the Ministry of Justice showed the registration of private housing properties for 13 deals at a total value of KD 4.37 million. The investment properties witnessed only two deals at a value of KD 2.33 million.
