Proposal to include the fundamentals of Islam and Holy Quran in the curricula of primary schools and kindergartens

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 17: MP Muhammad Haif Al-Mutairi recently submitted a proposal to include the fundamentals of Islam and Holy Quran in the curricula of primary schools and kindergartens. He said the government has approved the proposal.

Meanwhile, Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr Saud Al-Harbi confirmed that the Civil Service Commission (CSC) approved the proposal of MP Askar Al-Anzi to increase the incentive given to Kuwaiti teachers for correcting exam papers; such that the amount of incentive is equal to one month salary. Al-Harbi revealed the proposal will be implemented in academic year 2020/2021.
