KUWAIT CITY, May 22: Personnel from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) were able to identify two Kuwaitis who had allegedly placed controversial sign boards in Taima, Salmi and Hawalli and other areas about murder of women which had sparked a great controversy over the past two days. A security source said the sign boards spoke of crimes committed earlier in these areas and a group of investigators was pressed into action and they succeeded in arrested two citizens. The security authorities told Al-Seyassah daily investigations with the two men are ongoing to know the motives behind this. The source said legal measures will be taken against the men.

Meanwhile, a fire which broke out at dawn in Salmiya damaged five vehicles which were parked in an open area, reports Al-Seyassah daily. The daily added, no human casualties have been reported and that the fire destroyed the vehicles. By Munif Nayef Al-Seyassah and Arab Times Staff
