KUWAIT CITY, Sept 20: Farwaniya Committee of the Municipal Council has referred a proposal to Kuwait Municipality for forming a committee to deal with the problem related to bachelors living in residential areas in Firdous, Farwaniya and Khaitan areas, to the department to decide in it, reports Al-Rai Daily.

The committee has urged to department to follow up the situation in Jleeb-Al-Shuyoukh after the appraisal. Minister of Justice, Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Dr Fahad Al-Affasi has stressed the importance of developing the judicial system in order to offer the best services to litigants and ensure justice for everyone, reports Al-Rai daily.

He announced the launching of the third phase of electronic advertising of judicial papers with the banking sector and private companies by the end of September. He told the daily that e-advertising is one of the ways to facilitate litigation procedures.

He revealed the e-services launched by the Ministry of Justice reached 257 so far, indicating the Sentences Enforcement General Department has activated the e-payment system for travel ban orders and arrest warrant.

In a bid to protect public funds and collect arrears, the ministry allowed citizens and expatriates to pay past dues online including alimony, rent, judicial fees and power of attorney without going to the courts, service centers or ministry, he added.
