KUWAIT CITY, July 16: In light of the efforts being exerted by the Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) to better serve the public and facilitate procedures for the completion of transactions, the authority recently opened two halls for receiving visitors — one for the elderly and the other for people with special needs among the citizens and residents.
The authority took these steps to ease procedures for the abovementioned categories, without the trouble of waiting as the working hours are in the morning and evening.
Director of the Public Relations and Information Department in the authority Ahmed Al-Sabr told Al Rai, that booking appointments and strict compliance with health regulations are part of the conditions that visitors must meet to process their transactions.
He stressed these steps are aimed at protecting employees and visitors from coronavirus. He disclosed the authority serves smart card holders for approval of the electronic signature that is required by some agencies like the Public Institution for Social Security (PIFSS) and Kuwait Credit Bank (KCB) during the morning period only.
