PACI no longer receives visitors

KUWAIT CITY, March 3: The Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) no longer receives visitors and is said to have transferred all transactions to the automated system or e-envelops, reports Al-Qabas daily.

However, there is an increase in the number of visitors who apply for the Civil ID for the first time (newcomers) while the ID collection centers did not witness any hectic activity.

Sources told the daily one of the reasons for opting for the automated services and use of electronic envelope is to prevent infection to and from visitors to the facility or to and from the employees, given the fact thousands of people visit PACI on a daily basis
