‘Quarantined people have started depending on home food’

KUWAIT CITY, March 19: Chief Executive Officer of Craves Delivery Company – one of the Kuwaiti companies operating in the Kuwaiti market Mohamed Al-Jassas said the daily request for meals orders during the holiday approved by the Council of Ministers fluctuated between a high and a slight decrease, reports Al-Qabas daily.

Al-Jassas told the daily the orders market has lost the important segments during the current period, indicating that requests in the morning period by employees have declined in standard terms because of the corona virus and decisions issued by the Council of Ministers to suspend work.

He pointed out normally the afternoons witnessed a big volume of requests for lunches from its restaurants, but it also declined sharply because women who are committed to home quarantine have started depending on home food. He pointed out the demand for dinner meals is still at a normal level and may see an increase some time later.
