ISTANBUL, Feb 5 (KUNA) -- A passenger reportedly was killed and 157 others injured when a plane, belonging to Turkey's Pegasus Airlines, made a rough landing on Wednesday evening.
The Boeing 737 was carrying 171 passengers and six-member crew from Izmir province to Sabiha Gokcen airport in Istanbul, according to Turkey's Anadolu Agency (AA).
The doomed plane skidded off the runway due to poor weather conditions, broke into three pieces and caught fire.
The victims were rushed to nearby hospitals while all flights to and from Sabiha Gokcen were redirected to nearby airports.
