KUWAIT CITY, May 1: The Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) has announced the addition of four new online services on its website — www.manpower. gov.kw — for workers to submit a request to transfer the work permit to another type of visa, reports Al-Rai daily. According to the authority, the Labor Relations Department will review the visa transfer application before it is processed.
Following are the new online services:
1. Request to cancel work permit and transfer to family visa.
2. Request to cancel the work permit and transfer to domestic worker visa.
3. Request to cancel work permit and transfer to the government sector.
4. Request to cancel the work permit for final departure from the country.
PAM has updated its website to include these services in a bid to streamline procedures in various fields and enable the completion of transactions without the need to visit the authority.
