KUWAIT CITY, Dec 12: Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Health, has announced an extension of working hours at three expat examination centers: the centers in Ali Sabah Al-Salem suburb (Umm Al-Hayman), Al-Jahra, and Shuwaikh. The new hours are from 7:30 am to 1:30 pm and from 2 pm to 6 pm during official working days from Sunday to Thursday.

Expatriates seen in queue at the medical test center.

Notably, domestic workers can undergo examinations without prior appointments in all expatriate labor examination centers, provided their sponsor is present. For other applicants, securing a prior appointment is a prerequisite. This extension aims to alleviate pressure on the centers, ensuring accessible and convenient services for patients. Dr. Al-Sanad commended the public health sector's efforts to address workflow challenges and implement effective solutions.
