FEBRUARY in Kuwait is the month for celebrating events which changed the history of this country — the day Kuwait gained its independence, the day it was liberated and a new dawn of patriotism emerged to cement its identity principles.

Despite the hurdles which the country encountered from time to time, Kuwait continues to emerge with a new gown which is designed for persistence towards the path of development and progress.

In the past 12 years, February has been the month for renewing allegiance to the loyal leader who has been bearing the honor and trust of this country with a sense of patriotism — Nawaf Al-Ahmad — the Crown Prince who was and continues to be a firm supporter of the stances of HH the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

Considering this noble man has a huge place in the hearts of the people of Kuwait, we decided to leave his salutations until the completion of the national day celebrations, which are also his celebrations, for us to fulfill his deserved rights, especially since we are still in the National and Liberation days celebration mode.

Everyone in Kuwait knows that HH Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad manifests the cultural and social nobility of the Kuwaiti society through his daily deportment. He is close to everyone — old and young. He places everyone in their deserved level of love and respect.

He is also decisive in terms of taking decisions which cannot tolerate any form of carelessness when it comes to accomplishing tasks. This is how he served in the Ministry of Interior where he anchored the principles of combining humanitarian aspect with security work.

He implemented the same values when he was in the Ministry of Defense, and the most important of all, when he was in the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor where he interpreted the noble values in communicating with various layers of the society.

Almighty Allah accepted the supplications made by the people of Kuwait sincerely when HH the Crown Prince had a medical issue. His return and recovery were regarded as a Kuwaiti festival.

This man is humble. He is always keen on participating in people’s good and bad days, as well as their celebrations.

Due to his humility, it is not surprising to find him in the last line of a congregation in a mosque. This attitude is due to his firm belief that faith motivates devotion without limits and being close to Almighty Allah necessitates good deeds and inner purity, not appearance and formalities.

Nawaf Al-Ahmad’s place among the people of Kuwait and others is based on his piety and clean hands, let alone his devotion in serving his country and his people. Such characters are for state persons who leave an impression that guides them wherever they go.

This is why the people of Kuwait exchange with him love for love and loyalty for loyalty. They follow his activities in and outside the country due to his ability in opening communication channels between the children of this country or the children of the region who also are fond of him.

It is our obligation to HH the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad to say what our hearts feel for him. Undoubtedly, it will please HH the Amir as he trusted him to bear this huge national responsibility.

HH Sheikh Nawaf has been working competently to safeguard the trust bestowed on his shoulder. We hope Almighty Allah continues to bless the Crown Prince’s endeavors which he executes in line with the divine verse, especially if it applies to Nawaf Al-Ahmad.

Almighty Allah says: “Indeed, Allah commands you to render trusts to whom they are due and when you judge between people to judge with justice. Excellent is that which Allah instructs you. Indeed, Allah is ever Hearing and Seeing.” (Holy Quran 4:58)

Pardon us HH if we delayed saying the word of truth which suits your honor.
