Murder suspect stays in jail

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 24: The detention renewal judge ordered the extension of the imprisonment of the suspect in the attempted murder of Dr Hussein Jarkhi for a period of 14 days, so he returned to the Central Prison, reports Al-Seyassah daily. The Public Prosecution had earlier escalated the case from traffic misdemeanor to attempted murder after the Criminal Investigation General Department in the Interior Ministry pointed out the accused intentionally hit Jarkhi with his vehicle at the time the latter met him in the Psychiatric Hospital for consultation. It has been revealed the accused planned to kill Jarkhi.
