MOH allocates cold storage’s for corona vaccines

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 9: The Ministry of Health has allocated cold storage’s for the corona vaccine; which will be placed in medical warehouses and the three vaccination sites – Jahra Governorate, Ahmadi Governorate and Kuwait International Fair grounds in Mishref, reports Al-Anba daily quoting sources.

Sources confirmed these cold storages have the capacity to store the corona vaccine at a temperature of minus 70 Celsius – the required temperature for the vaccine to remain effective. Sources said the ministry has taken all the necessary measures to store the vaccine in such a way that it remains effective and to avoid its destruction, noting that the first batch of the vaccine will arrive at the end of this year.
