MOE: Teachers have no rights to give assignments for students after school hours

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 22: The Ministry of Education has instructed the administrations of schools not to inform students about their homework outside the official working hours on the electronic portal — from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon, reports Al-Anba daily.

This came after the ministry noticed that some teachers asked students about their homework during the evening shift.

Informed sources from the educational sector confirmed to the daily that teachers have no right to ask students to submit their assignments after the official work hours or during vacation, while rejecting the idea of ​​requesting homework from students at night.

Sources stressed the need for everyone to adhere to the systems and regulations in force in this aspect, wishing all the students success in their academic endeavor.
