Ministry of Higher Education probes compliant of Kuwaiti females in Egypt

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 30: Kuwaiti Minister of Higher Education Dr. Mohammad Al-Fares instructed forming a fact-finding committee to probe the complaint of Kuwaiti ladies in Egypt about a video that went viral on social media. The incident took place on September 27 at Kuwait Embassy’s Cultural Office in Alexandria. Under the Minister’s instructions, the probe committee has to submit a report to the Minister as early as possible pending the adoption of necessary measure, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry from Overseas Missions and Cultural Relations Fatema Al-Sanan said on Thursday evening.

“The Ministry is committed to addressing all affairs relating to its jurisdiction, including the students studying abroad, with transparency and in the frameworks of law,” she affirmed, adding, “this is the Ministry’s top priority. Al-Sanan underscored the strength of the relationship between the peoples of Kuwait and Egypt, noting that any individual behavior cannot affect these fraternal relations
