KUWAIT CITY, March 16: The Kuwaiti Committee for "Mini-Goal" is actively gearing up for its upcoming second Ramadan tournament, in collaboration with the Coordination of the Popular Conference for Palestinians Abroad. Scheduled for the 20th and 21st of March, the event will take place at the late Samir Saeed Stadium within the Social Culture Society premises in Hawalli Square. Sixteen teams, comprising youngsters born in 2012, 2013, and 2014, representing football clubs and academies in Kuwait, are set to participate.
Hassan Al-Khawaja, the head of the Kuwaiti Committee for "Mini Goal," emphasized the significance of the tournament. He underscored its social importance, particularly following the successful organization of the recent "Children of Palestine" Cup tournament. Al-Khawaja stressed that the tournament's primary aim is to promote social engagement through sports, fostering a spirit of competition while encouraging physical activity among different age groups. Furthermore, he highlighted its role in providing a platform for young football enthusiasts to hone their skills and unearth new talents.
Al-Khawaja reiterated the committee's commitment to hosting such tournaments regularly, emphasizing their contribution to fostering a culture of physical fitness within society. By integrating sports into the daily routine of the community, these initiatives aim to positively impact both physical and psychological well-being.
