BUDAPEST, Oct 1: Kuwait's junior rhythmic gymnastics team showcased their talent and dedication at the Hungarian International Championship, securing an impressive total of 19 medals. Their exceptional performance included 6 gold, 6 silver, and 7 bronze medals, earned through fierce competition with athletes representing elite nations in the sport, including Estonia, Slovakia, Lithuania, Austria, Venezuela, Egypt, and the host nation, Hungary.

Under the guidance of Ukrainian coach Irina Kovalchuk, the team's medals were a testament to the skill and determination of young athletes Sarah Al-Bannai, Raya Al-Qassar, Nabila Al-Kharafi, Layan Behbehani, and Talia Behbehani, all of whom participated in the first-level competitions.

The achievements were as follows:
• Sarah Al-Bannai (born in 2012) clinched two gold medals in the hoop and ribbon events, as well as two silver medals in the general individual and the ball competition.
• Raya Al-Qassar (born in 2013) displayed her prowess with two gold medals in the freestyle and ball routines, along with a silver in the general individual and a bronze in the ball event.
• Nabila Al-Kharafi (born in 2013) demonstrated her skill by securing two silver medals in the mace and freestyle disciplines, in addition to a bronze in the hoop category.
• Layan Behbehani (born in 2011) claimed a gold medal in the ribbon routine, a silver in the ball event, and two bronze medals in the mace and general individual performances.
• Talia Behbehani (born in 2014) showcased her talent with a gold medal in the freestyle routine, as well as three bronze medals in the ball, hoop, and overall individual categories.
