March 15 deadline set to remove all campsites

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 13: The Spring Camps Committee at the Kuwait Municipality has decided to conduct a comprehensive review of the camp law to discuss the totality of the negatives and correct them in the coming seasons, with two proposals to be taken and one of them to be applied and the next season, reports Al-Rai daily.

A committee member told the daily the number of violations have decreased significantly compared to the previous years, according to the statistics received by the committee, which confirms the existence of a noticeable commitment from campers, especially that the committee members focus their efforts on removing the existing camps put up near oil facilities and next to the army camps.

The source said the committee has set March 15 deadline to remove all the camps from the sites.
