KUWAIT CITY, Feb 8: Many Arab countries will most likely boycott the ‘Death on the Nile’ movie upon its international release, because the lead star — Gal Gadot — served as a soldier in the Zionist occupation army, reports Al-Qabas daily. People in Kuwait and other Arab countries took to Twitter to express their anger over Gadot being chosen to star in the movie, considering her statement on the killing of Gaza children in the 2014 aggression.

The Ministry of Information previously banned her ‘Wonder Woman’ movie. In Lebanon, the campaign to boycott the Zionist entity called on cinemas to withdraw the film; while the promotional advertisement for the movie sparked widespread controversy in Egypt. The film’s setting is in Cairo based on the Agatha Christie novel with the same title.
