KUWAIT CITY, March 5: Personnel from the Criminal Investigations Department after investigations said the maid working for the Kuwaiti family has nothing to do with the murder she was primarily accused of murdering a Kuwaiti, his wife and daughter in Ardhiya, reports Al-Rai daily. After interrogating the maid, it was found that she works for them on an hourly basis and does not live with the bereaved family.

A security source told Al-Rai the cause of the crime was not theft, as it was found that the mother and daughter’s gold were in its place in tact, in addition to some money that they kept in the house was there. The detectives are working in full swing to find the culprit as soon as possible, and are looking for new leads.

The Criminal Investigation Department are intensifying efforts to uncover the triple murder case in which a Kuwaiti citizen Ahmed Abduallah Al Shatil, his wife Khaleda Ghannam Al Dekan and their daughter Asmaa were stabbed to death.

During investigation while examining the crime scene it appeared that some of the drawers in husband's room were broken, the CID has taken forensic evidence of traces which were left behind. CCTV cameras of neighboring houses are being examined.
