Macaulay Culkin.

LOS ANGELES, Dec 2, (Agencies): On Friday, a new star adorned the Hollywood Walk of Fame, commemorating Macaulay Culkin's remarkable 40-year career in acting, notably highlighted by his iconic role in "Home Alone." The unveiling ceremony at 6353 Hollywood Blvd., between Ivar Avenue and Cahuenga Boulevard, drew notable figures such as Catherine O'Hara, who portrayed Culkin's on-screen mother in both "Home Alone" and its 1992 sequel, "Home Alone 2: Lost in New York," and Natasha Lyonné, a fellow cast member from the 2003 biographical crime drama, "Party Monster."

Brenda Song, Culkin's partner renowned for her roles in Disney Channel comedies like "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody" and "The Suite Life on Deck," was also present at the event. Graciously acknowledging the attendees, Culkin expressed gratitude for the kind words and stories shared, emphasizing the importance of recognizing that, before being a father, he was once a child himself.

During the ceremony, O'Hara celebrated her on-screen son from the "Home Alone" films with warm words of congratulations. "Macaulay, congratulations," she exclaimed. "You truly deserve this star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Thank you for including me, your on-screen mom who left you home alone not once but twice, in this joyous celebration. I am immensely proud of you."

This star, the 2,765th since the completion of the Walk of Fame in 1961 with the initial 1,558 stars, symbolizes Culkin's enduring impact on the world of entertainment and his lasting contribution to the cinematic legacy.
