Local liquor Factory Busted in Ahmadi

KUWAIT CITY, March 15: The Tripartite Joint Committee, which represents the General Administration of Residence Affairs Investigations, conducted inspection campaigns that led to the arrest of 3 individuals who were operating a local wine factory in Al-Ahmadi Governorate. Upon inspection, the authorities found 38 bottles and 20 barrels containing suspected intoxicating substances, as well as manufacturing equipment on the premises.

The suspects, along with the seized items, were handed over to the competent authorities for necessary legal action. In addition, the Ministry of Electricity and Water cut off the electricity supply to the site. This bust is a significant accomplishment which highlights MOI’s efforts to combat illegal activities in the region.
