Lawyers assault, insult and kick each others in court complex

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 25: The board of directors of the Kuwait Lawyers Association (KLA) has decided during a meeting Tuesday evening to refer two lawyers – who were defending two different families in a civil suit involving millions of dinars – to the disciplinary department,reports Al-Rai daily.

This came after the lawyers assaulted, insulted and kicked each other inside the Al-Riqei Court Complex and filed complaints with the Public Prosecution.

This happened following a misunderstanding between them and after accusing each other and hurling insults and both ended up beating and kicking each other until police intervened and separated them. The board also is demanding to cancel their membership from the association
