Kuwait’s Minister Of Health Withdraws From Conference Over Israeli Participation

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 24: In continuation of Kuwait’s honorable stances concerning important Arab and Islamic issues, the Minister of Health Dr. Ahmad Al-Awadhi backed out from the Health Ministers’ Conference held on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly meeting in objection to the presence of the Minister of Health and Minister of Interior of the State of Israel, reports Al-Qabas daily. According to health sources, Minister Al-Awadhi left the hall before the Israeli minister started his speech at 3:00 pm New York time. He did not return to the hall, in line with Kuwait’s firm and well-established positions towards the Palestine issue and other Arab issues.
