Kuwaiti threatens to murder his mother

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 8: A 1984-born Kuwaiti citizen was arrested for threatening to murder his mother using a knife. According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information from a Kuwaiti woman who claimed that she received a death threat from a Kuwaiti citizen, securitymen rushed to the location and arrested the suspect. They discovered that the suspect is the informant’s son and is a patient of the Psychology Medicine Hospital. The youth was later taken to the hospital where the doctor in charge informed securitymen that he is not suffering from any mental illness currently. He was detained in police custody for referring to the Public Prosecution.

Duo caught drunk: Two Kuwaiti citizens were arrested on Salmi Road for consuming and possessing liquor. According to security sources, Jahra securitymen were patrolling Salmi Road when they suspected a vehicle with two occupants and ordered the driver to pull over. They checked their details and discovered they are Kuwaiti citizens. Detecting the smell of liquor from them, securitymen checked the vehicle and found half bottle of imported liquor. The two suspects were arrested and referred with the liquor bottle to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action.

‘KD 1m’ man held: A Kuwaiti citizen, who is wanted by law for a debt worth KD 1,075,000, was arrested in Hawally area. According to security sources, Hawally securitymen were patrolling the area when they suspected a motorist and asked him to pull over. They checked his details and discovered he is wanted for a debt more than KD 1 million. He was arrested and referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action
