Kuwaiti singer passes away

KUWAIT CITY, May 13, (KUNA): The Ministry of Information mourned Abdulkarim Abdulqader; one of Kuwait and the Arab World’s most renowned singers, who passed away earlier on Friday. Heavy-hearted feeling of Minister of Information, Minister of State for Youth Affairs Abdurrahman Al- Mutairi goes to family of the deceased, said Ministry Spokesperson Anwar Murad, recalling Abdulqader’s massive artistic impact on the Gulf scene; enriching Kuwaiti and Arab musical heritage throughout his +60-year career.
